Sir Brian Souter is to lead the annual Engage Invest Exploit forum hosted in the Scottish capital this May. Souter has been named the official keynote speaker for this year’s event, which will see over 200 investors come together.
As well as being the co-founder and chairman of the highly successful Stagecoach Group, Souter runs his own private investment group, Souter Investments. His knowledge and experiences made him a top choice for one of this year’s keynote speakers.
Since its inception in 2008, the EIE forum has resulted in the investment of £30 million in Scottish start-up businesses and entrepreneurs. The event provides Scottish start-ups and entrepreneurs the opportunity to impress and showcase their businesses to some top investors from around the world. Previous investors include such giants of industry as Google, Microsoft and IBM. Attendees will be able to rub shoulders and network with all the investors present, as well as attend speeches and view exhibitions. The event is a must for those looking to grow and improve their businesses and entrepreneurial ideas.
This year’s event will take place on the 8th of May in the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh and is expected to be the largest EIE event to date.
